The Samsung HT-X810 is a great looking home theatre system that offers an excellent viewing and listening experience.

The HT-X810 Home-Theatre-In-a-Box consists of a full-size soundbar and a large powered wireless subwoofer which receives audio signals from the main unit without the need for an unsightly audio cable. The unit is wall mountable and specifically designed to complement your LCD or Plasma TV with its sleek glossy finish.

Setup is easy, basically, if you can plug in a power cable you can set up this system, because almost everything about the Samsung is wireless. Connectivity is one of this system's strong points and it features HDMI output, digital optical audio input, USB, Bluetooth and component outputs. The Bluetooth is a fantastic feature as it allows you to use any compatible mobile, PC or even MP3 player to act as a sound source. The wireless system that the subwoofer utilises is 5.8GHz, and not the more crowded 2.4GHz spectrum shared by microwaves, cordless phones and home networks, resulting in less interference.

The Samsung HT-X810 delivers good clear and crisp audio performance for both film and music sources with its 2.1 channel system. The unit also includes an on-board DVD player which is compatible with most recordable DVD formats, DVD Audio Discs, CDs/CD-Rs/-RWs, MP3, WMA, Divx, and Jpeg and is capable of up scaling to 1080p resolution for use with your HD TV.
